Common Knowledge about UPS
Generally speaking, there always exist the following power failure : Power Interruption, Voltage sags , Voltage surges, Damping Oscillation ,  Power Disturbance ,Transients, Total Harmonic Distortion and so on.
You may fall across one or more power problems of above mentioned, and these problems will directly influence your networks and those important data. Different UPS types are appropriate for different applications, and that there is no single UPS type that is ideal for all applications.. It can be divided into 3 types according to function.

Back-up UPS:
The Back-up UPS is the most common type used for personal computers or working computer, it can help solve 3 main power problems, including: Power Interruption, Voltage sags and Voltage surges. Compared with other UPS, the price is lowest.
Line Interactive UPS:
It can effectively solve 5 common power troubles: power interruption, voltage sags, voltage surges, Damping Oscillation and voltage disturbance. Its price is moderate and it is the most common design used for small business, Web, and departmental servers.
The Double Conversion On-Line UPS
This UPS provides nearly ideal electrical output performance and solves all the problems above. It can protect important systems and data, and has been widely applied in significant data center and large network system (incl. financial industry, Post, Hospital, Electric power, Navigation Area and Military and so on) 

You can select appropriate UPS according to actual needs:

(1)How to select UPS KVA
Customer can select the UPS KVA by taking the total number of amps. To ensure the efficiency and prolong the life-span, the equipment overload take 60%-70% of UPS’s output power.
 (2)Try to use single units with large KVA. Many facts show single units with large KVA will help concentrate power input which not only benefit collectively run UPS but also effectively make use of battery power and minimize failure rate .Following MTBF data are for your ref.
1.  1-5KVAUPS’s MTBF is 40,000-90,000 hours.
2.  5-20KVAUPS’s MTBF is 130,000-170,000 hours
3.  30-400KVAUPS’s MTBF is 200,000-250,000 hours

(3)Per customer’s different distributor system, there are 3 types of UPS for you choosing:
*1-phase 220V input/ 1-phrase 220V output unit: when selecting this model, take into account if the problem of a balanced 3-phase power distribution is contained.
*3-phase 380V input/1-phrase 220V output unit: it seems in surface that the user do not need to consider balanced 3-phase input power contained, actually not.
*3-phase 380V input/3-phase 380V output: general speaking, user should control the imbalance in the UPS output overload is less than between 30%-40%.

(4)As for those high requirement towards electricity quality (like Hospital Bank ,Security Center and Navigation Organization ),We could choose Redundant configuration design UPS

(5)UPS battery should work under 20℃-25℃ environment.
